Financial Support

All admitted Ph.D. students are financially supported through a combination of fellowships, teaching assistantships, and graduate research assistantships. Typically, students are admitted with a one-semester fellowship. After that first semester, the student is matched with an advisor and is supported for the remainder of their program on a teaching or graduate research assistantship. Students are also encouraged to apply for external funding, if eligible.
