LIMS Group wins 1st place at AIAA NE Regional Conference

The Laboratory for Intelligent Machine Systems won top honors at the AIAA Region I - NE Student Conference, held at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, March 27-28, 2009.

• Charles Daitch, M. Eng., took 2nd place in the Undergraduate Division for his paper on the Weissinger method.
  
  
• Richard Callahan, M. Eng., took 2nd place in the Master's Division for his paper, "Bio-Inspired Bat Wing Design and Fabrication".
  
  
• The Helicopter Team ( Parker Evans, Jeff Hudson, Collin Weber) won 1st prize in the team competition, for their paper, "Automated Pilot Control Assistance for a Micro-Scale Helicopter."
