Bonassar named Fellow by AIMBE
Professor Larry Bonassar was named Fellow of the American Institute for Medical Biological Engineering, for contributions in understanding cartilage as a biomaterial, its function and repair, and engineering of cartilaginous tissues with clinical viability. The AIMBE College of Fellows consists of 1,000 individuals who are the outstanding bioengineers in academia, industry and government. All nominees must have a record of exceptional achievement in research, development, education, manufacturing, public service, technological leadership and/or clinical practice as they relate to medical and biological engineering.
