Sidney Leibovich, the Samuel B. Eckert Professor of Mechanical Engineering, has been named one of three Associate Directors in the Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future (CCSF). Sid's expertise is in fluid dynamics & mechanics. He will direct the center's energy program.
The other two Associate Directors are Anurag Agrawal, associate professor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, who will oversee programs focused on the environment, and Chris Barrett, an international professor in the Department of Applied Economics and Management who will head the center's economic development programs. |
